HARDENBERG – The upcoming edition of Installatie Vakbeurs Hardenberg will be moved to 07, 08 and 09 September 2021. The Dutch government has not yet imposed any further restrictions with regards to organizing trade fairs. Trade fair organizer Easyfairs was convinced that the trade fair could go ahead. However, the sentiment among exhibitors has changed a lot recently. The vast majority of exhibitors have indicated that they would like to move the fair to 2021. “We consider it our primary task to listen to the community and think along with them. That is why we decided in a timely fashion to relocate the fair ”, says Irma de Hoon, Business Unit Director Construction at Easyfairs.
De Hoon: “For many professionals in the sector, this decision did not come out of the blue. In the past period we have been in close contact with our exhibitors. They have indicated that, among other things, the mandatory measures would not benefit the low-threshold character of the fair. In addition, many exhibitors feel a moral obligation towards relations and staff, to protect them from possible exposure to the Coronavirus. ”
Despite the fact that trade fairs are allowed to take place in November, the organization still chooses to move Installation Vakbeurs Hardenberg to 2021, at the request of its exhibitors. De Hoon: “This is an exceptional situation and we have to think along with the community. For years, Installation Vakbeurs Hardenberg has been a household name for thousands of professionals. We can only maintain this by organizing a high-quality fair, together with our exhibitors and partners. We have come at a point where the market is asking us to decide. An inventory among current exhibitors has shown us that, with the exception of a few, people want us to move to September 2021. We have listened to that.”
The new date for Installatie Vakbeurs will be 07, 08 and 09 September 2021, in Evenementenhal Hardenberg. “It bolsters our confidence that a large group of exhibitors has continued their registration to 2021. Together we are committed to another successful edition where the sector can meet and do business in an informal atmosphere,” says De Hoon.
